Pneumatic transport
Increasing manufacturing quality requirements and cost minimization mean that in many plants, loose material transport by helical or belt conveyors must be eliminated and replaced with a safer and more effective method – i.e. “vacuum transport".
For those unfamiliar with the term, “vacuum transport” is defined as follows: "transport of solid materials, especially loose materials (powders, small grains), by lifting them in an air flow created in a closed piping loop by different pressure at its ends".
So much for the theory, and the practice is even more interesting. Pneumatic transport has virtually only advantages:
- fast and cost-efficient installation/dismantling
- pipes can be reused
- quick rerouting of pipes
Our offer includes also pipes bent with large radius: diameters 38,0 – 168,3 mm are manufactured with bending radius R from 50 to 1500 mm. Wall thickness can be from 1,5 to 5,0 mm. They are manufactured from stainless steel and aluminum. Standard straight length of each leg of a bend is 200 mm.
